Peached Out

19 Pints Peach Jam
12 Quarts of Peach Slices
10 Pints Peach BBQ Sauce
This is one peached out Mamma!
Now on to Apple season!

2 Months

I can not believe Kinley is 2 months old already!  Where has time gone?  She went in for her 2 month check up and is growing like a champ!
Weight: 10.1 lb
Height: 22.6 inches
Hopefully she keeps up the good numbers.  We are going to have to watch her closely because she was also diagnosed with Laryngomalacia a few weeks ago.  If you have ever heard her breathe, you will notice that she has a pretty loud stridor on inspiration.  Hopefully she will grow out of it, and we will not have to have the surgery to repair this.  In the mean time, we are trying to control her acid reflux that comes along with it all and trying to position her in a comfy position where she can breathe the best.  You can notice in the pictures how she likes her head to be when she is asleep.  Arching her neck seems to help her, so she does that on her own.  And, sleeping on her belly makes her feel tons better!  Basically Tim and I have pretty bad luck making airways in our babies. :(
We love you little Kinley!  Don't worry, we have lots of great people taking care of you, and we have tons of experience with babies not breathing like they should!!!

Bad Hair Day

Timmy was starting to look pretty shaggy, so we decided he really need to get a haircut.  I told him I had just gotten a coupon in the mail for SuperCuts, if he wanted to get it done by a pro instead of doing it himself.  Well, nope, he wanted to save the $8 and cut it himself again.  He has been doing this for years, so I really did not push it.  Bad mistake...
This is what happens when the clipper guard falls off and you do not realize it:
Yep, that is his scalp!  And, mind you, the rest of his hair is at the length that he wanted the finished product to be at.
The only blessing here is that he does have to wear a hat in the OR all day.  Hopefully he does not forget when he is walking around the hospital.  Of course he could not find his baseball cap, so we had to go out the next day and buy him a new hat.
The hat cost $28.  Should of listened to wife...
Please keep the comments kind, I think Timmy is still a little fragile about the whole thing!

Little Miss

Kinley and I got a little one-on-one time last week while Carter was at Vacation Bible School.  She is just a sweet, sweet girl.  I feel so blessed to finally have her a part of our family.  I love just holding her and looking into her blue eyes.  On the first day of VBS, Carter said he was really going to miss Kinley.  He may still be adjusting to not being the only child anymore, but he sure does love her.
I have a picture of Carter wearing this same outfit when he was 11 weeks old.  It was baggy on him.  Kinley is 7 weeks old in this picture!  We have an eater!!! :)

Try not to kiss those lips!!!

Shout out to the Aunts, Kinley LOVES her new highchair!!!

Carter thinks Kinley looks like a Super Hero!

This girl loves snuggling with her Daddy.  I think he likes it too!
We call Kinley our princess.  Today Carter told me Kinley was a princess, the spit up princess!!  He is one funny little boy!

Birthday Boy

Happy Birthday Timmy!!!!!  Hope you enjoyed your 33rd birthday celebration!  You are an amazing father, husband, and doctor.  You amaze me with all that you have accomplished and become.  I could not be prouder!  I watched you outside today playing ball with Carter and I realized that I could not have been more blessed.  The way you love and play with our children is so heart warming.  They are truly lucky children to have you as a Daddy.  Thank you for being the person that you are.  Happy Birthday, lets make this an amazing year!!  XOXOXO

The carrot cake was a hit!  Both boys ate more than they needed!!!!  And now Carter wants carrot cake for his birthday...

Carter thought Tim would love having a Spiderman party!

Spidy almost couldn't blow out all the candles.  Getting pretty old Timmy!
