Potter Marsh

Today was a beautiful day with the sun shinning, so we decided to get the kids out and go on a walk on the Potter Marsh Board walk.  It was fun seeing all the fish and admiring the beautiful mountains.  Carter loves the big fish, and he wonders why his Daddy always catches small fish with there are big one out in the world... 

Hatcher Pass

On Wednesday we headed out to Hatcher Pass to try to find some more Blueberries.  We were successful in finding some more berries and also finding the rain clouds.  Mema did a good job sitting in the car with the two little kids so Dad and I could pick till the we were soaked to the bone.  Despite the rain clouds, we were still able to admire the amazing view that Alaska always provides.  Sorry Timmy, I have found God's Country, and it is not Idaho! :)  

Blueberries?

Dad and I went on a wild goose chase for some blueberries today with the boys.  Due to the lack of sunshine this year, the berries were few and far between.  We came out with 9 cups of berries, wet clothes, and a boot full of mud.  

Thanks to Mema for watching my sweet boy yet again!!  Hope you are not getting tired of him, I am kind of enjoying having a little alone time!!!

We have a Birthday Boy on our Hands

Aaron celebrated his 9th birthday this past weekend.  Heather made amazing cupcakes.  It was a great time chatting with people I have not seen in forever, and letting Carter play with his Alaskan Cousins.  Happy Birthday Aaron, thanks for letting us come to your party!!!

Getting Older

Invaded

Last weekend, our home was invaded by Andrea and all her kids.  Uncle Jason and Aunt Steffany also decide to some down for some good family time.  It was great having everyone here, and kept my mind off missing Tim so much.  I had lots of activities planned to keep us busy.  It was hot, so many things involved being in the water.  And, of course we ate tons.  Aiden and Carter are super cute together since they are so close in age.  It was a great time, and I hope they come back soon.
