Easter

I can't believe this is our last holiday with only one kiddo!  It is fun spoiling one little guy, and being able to give him all the attention on that special day.

Carter had a blast coloring the eggs.  This was the first time he got to color real eggs, and he did really good.    The best part is that he LOVES to eat them!  Makes for an easy lunch to serve him!

We took Carter to an Easter Egg hunt at one of the local churches here on Saturday.  It was funny because Tim and I were totally cheering him on get as many eggs as he could.  He did really well since he was in the 0-3 age group.  When it was all over, we realized all the eggs were empty!  You were supposed to turn in all your eggs, and they would then give you a goodie bag.  Carter did not want to do this.  We had told him they were going to be filled with candy, so he was really mad that not only did they not have candy in them, but then he did not get to keep the eggs.  So, I guess it was a fair way to do the hunt, but kind of silly if you ask me (especially since Carter totally got the most eggs!)

The Easter Bunny showed up to the egg hunt, but Carter was too scared to actually get his picture taken with him.  So, lucky Timmy got to meet him!

Carter made out pretty good this year.  He snuck out to the living room while Tim and I were still sleeping, and you could hear him gasping at all the cool stuff.  It was cute.

He was pretty excited that these eggs were filled with candy!

Hope you had a wonderful day little man!

29 Weeks

Before we know it, baby girl will be here.  We are getting more and more excited every day.  There is lots to do on the "To do List", but hopefully we will get it all done.  It looks like Meme will be here in time for the birth, so that is a great relief.  I know Meme likes to hold brand new babies, I just hope she likes to pack boxes too... :)

My little fish!  Carter and I are still hitting up the YMCA 4-5 times a week.  And, he is getting sooo good at swimming.  I am really proud of him, he is showing me up!  Yes, for all those wondering, I do still get in the pool.  I have never had so many people stare at me, it must be because I am so HOT!!! :)  I do float really good with this belly, it is nice!

Carter climbed in the bed with us this weekend.  First thing that came out of his mouth: "I am so excited for my baby sister to get here!"  I wanted to write it down, because I am sure there will be a day when he will deny being excited for her to come!
I also have a quote from Tim this week.  Laying in bed, he said "Gosh, baby girl just will not kick me tonight!"  My response: "Ummm, that is because you are rubbing my butt!"  I am pretty sure it is a bad thing he thought my butt was my belly, but I am trying not to dwell on it!

We had a fun surprise in the mail box this week.  Thanks to Lindsay and Clint for the beautiful outfit!  We love it, and Carter was so excited when I told him it said Little Sister!

28 Weeks

Carter sure does seem excited to be a big brother in this picture!
28 Weeks marks the third and final trimester!
The count down is on to meeting this little girl!
I am really hoping that she is a mini me, since Tim already has his mini me.
And, I am not entirely sold that a girl version of Tim would be as cute as the boy version...
We are still trying to decide on a name.  It seems like all three of us has a different favorite name.  Carter gets tired of discussing it.  So he says "Fine, if you are not going to choose my name that I like, then we will just call her Max!"
So baby girl Max it is (for now at least)!

Color Me Green

It turned into summer this week!  We have been enjoying 80 degree weather by playing outside and letting this little boy run his legs off.  He just melts my heart.  I love you so much little Carter, you are my angel!!!
Carter was so excited to get out and play on the slides again!

Our little family ready for the St.Patty's Day parade!

My little Leprechaun!

Even Kenai got in the spirit!
And finally, 27 Weeks!  I am so excited for this little girl to get here!  I am trying to treasure each day with Carter, while it is just the two of us hanging out at home.  I know he will make an amazing big brother, but I still feel a little guilty for bringing some competition into his life.  Carter will talk to my belly and tell the baby girl that he is her big brother, and then he asks her what her name is!  It is precious.  Favorite thing Carter said to me this week: "Mommy, why did you eat a baby?" :)

Swaddle Me

Can not wait to meet you baby girl!!!

Too much Ben and Jerry's...

I LOVE when we get packages in the mail.  Today was so exciting when this showed up at the doorstep.  Steffany and Jason sent this for sweet baby girl and pregnant Mama.  If you have not felt the bamboo swaddle blankets from Aden + Anais, then you should.  These are sooooo soft!  I can not wait to wrap our little girl up in these.  And how cute are the drool bibs???  Ok, and the Coconut!  Amazing!!!!!  (I am eating them as I type this).  And even Carter got a few goodies.  Thank you Steffany and Jason, love it!

24 Weeks

24 Weeks, baby girl will be here in 3 months!!  So crazy!

First present for our sweet little thing!!!!  Auntie Nanna is always on the ball!  I love the pink clothes, and now she wont be dressed totally in blue!!!  I have picked up the strawberry outfit multiple times, good thing I put it back!  And, her first pair of socks.  Thanks Nanna, LOVE them!!

My Bobby went from blue to pink!  Jessica and Joey gave this to us for Carter, and we loved it with him.  But, gosh, who would want a girl lounging on a blue boppy???  So we went pink!  Can I add that I put the invisible zipper in all by myself?

And last project for this week I made a canopy for the car seat.  It is super cute.  Not really sure if I needed it or not, but it was fun to make.  And, it gave a little pink to the blue car seat.
