Another One

Carter is scheduled yet again for surgery on December 2. He will have the distraction device removed (Yeaaaa), and he will also have his palate repaired. I am so excited to get that stuff off his face and to be able to cuddle in his neck again!! The surgery will be 2 hours long about, and we will hopefully be able to leave the hospital the next day. Dr. Muntz told us to plan on a few days in the hospital just in case it takes a while to get his eating up to par. I can honesty say I am tired of my baby boy being in pain and having to go through all this. I know it is the best to have all this done at once. That way we only have to go under once, but I am not ready just yet. I feel bad for little Carter and just want to give him a break. Oh well, soon all this will be over. Mom and Dad leave on the day of surgery and I am trying to talk them into staying for a few more weeks. What's a couple more days??? Carter will have to be in arm restraints for about 2 weeks, so I am really not looking forward that that!!!! So, keep my little man in your prayers, he needs them!!!!!

Goodness...I am SO hoping all goes well with this! He doesn't deserve all this stuff. Fortunately, he'll most likely NOT remember any of it. Our prayers are with your family, and we hope that everything goes great!! Love, Aunt Cindy, Uncle Randy, and Michaela

Awww, poor little man! He is going to do great, though! And it will be so wonderful to have all this behind you soon. You guys are in our thoughts!

Well, I will plan on seeing you on Wednesday then. I wonder who gets to go first? It is coming so fast and I am not ready. Are you? We should do lunch at the Rainbow Cafe. It's my favorite.

At least it will all be over soon and Carter will not remember one minute of it! My prayers are always with you!
Love and miss you all,

Arm restraints? :( That sounds tough for Carter AND you. Thank goodness the end of the distraction is near. Again, please let me know if I can help out, okay?

Tell Dr.Muntz not to worry that Aiden will take care of the distraction device next week. Good to do the reapair now so that when he is 1 he can really stuff in that cake and it won't go up and out his nose!!! Yeah!!!!!!
