Out of Sugery

We finally got to see Carter around 4pm. He is in the ICU for the night and doing well. There were no complications with surgery. We are so glad to be done with the surgery itself. Carter is still a bit drowsy, but such a love. The nurses said he just tried to climb out of the bed right when he woke up. Everyone is of course in love with him. We are so proud of him and cant wait for him to start feeling better. Hopefully tomorrow morning we will be able to go to the floor where the room will be a little more private. We are also looking foward to feeding him in the morning. It looks like we will be here until Sunday or Monday. Keep him in your prayers, he needs them!! Warning to Uncle Jason: Pictures may be too graphic for your stomach and heart, I am warning you!

Carter looks like he is doing very well and getting excellent care. I don't think this will slow him down for long. Kayla says "poor Carter". I hope that you guys have an easy pain free night. Keep pain meds on board for a while and he will be a happier dude. Thanks for putting on pics so quickly. It makes those of us who have been on pins and needles all day a little more at ease:-)
Tyler says "Carter I feel bad for you"
Love you,
Andrea, Ian, Kayla, Tyler, & Aiden

We are so glad you posted an update. We all agree that Carter looks good considering what he just went through. Caleb says he looks much better than the boy in the video. He has been in our thoughts and prayers. We love you. Hugs and kisses.

3 Prayers from Laplata MO from Tammi, Triniti and Tyler Perry. He is a strong little guy but it is so much easier when they are so young and can't remember any pain. He will probably feel so much better when it's all over. We are praying for you daily and miss having you around. Take care and thanks for the pics. Tammi

Oh, it makes my heart ache for him...and both of you. He is such a trooper! Lots of holding and loves--and some pain medication to keep him extra comfy. :) It will be so nice when all this is done and over. We continue to pray for you all. Love you, Aunt Cindy, Uncle Randy, and cousin Michaela
