Two Already???

Dear Carter,
Today is your second birthday!  It is hard to believe your Dad and I have been blessed with such an amazing boy for two years already.  You continue to be the most wonderful little man I have ever met.  During this year,  you have once again faced many struggles, yet you take them on like they are no thing!  You teach me how to be a better person and Mommy every day.  Thank you sooooo much for choosing Daddy and Me to be your parents.  Now, on to the many things I love about you at this moment in time:
* How much you eat!!!  All day long!!!!
* Your laugh and smile
* Your ability to learn new things each day
* Getting you up in the morning and all you ask for is your Daddy
* The way you call Kenai "Kiki"
* Your love for books
* Curling up on the couch with you and snuggling under the blanket
* Your pure joy when Daddy gets home from work
* Your kisses, they truly are the best!
* How you changed Mema's name to Meme
* How you blow kisses to the checkers at the store
* When you come up to me and say "Hi Baby"
Oh, I could go on forever about how you make me smile every day Carter.  Just know that I love you with all my heart.  You really are the best thing to ever happen to our lives.  Love you Carter Joseph!!!!!!
Love, Mommy
XOXOXO

It's that time of year!

My Boys with Chubs.  Chubs came from the same tree farm as Tubby from last year.   I am thinking they are brothers...
Helping get the tree straight!!!
Getting ready to make his first Gingerbread Choo Choo!
Thanks for leaving it Aunt Nanna!
Always wants to do it just like Daddy
Now that is a Choo Choo!!!!
Yeah, he is still in shock at our sweet skills!
What a great family day preparing for Christmas.  I love this time of year.  Now, we just need the snow to come back so we can have a white Christmas.

The Holidays have Begun!

This past weekend was quite a hit at the Half-Way house this year.  It was full of family, food, and fun.  The kids had a great time playing together, and the adults had a great time eating their way through the weekend.
Hungry
Oh yes she did!
Not up to par...
Meme
Give me a little bit of that!
You never know what he is thinking.
I am not sure it could get any better!
Sisters
Almost 60
I think the cake says "Martha"
I see a new team in the making!
I am at a loss for words...
The lady in the visitors center made us!

So, thanksgiving at our house, mexican night/Martha's 60th birthday at Steve and Kathy's house, and then Park City.  It was a great weekend.  On another note, Mom and Dad left today after being here for 2 months.  Carter and Kenai are super sad- just wandering around.  And, my laundry is still in the dryer.  Miss you guys, and I can't wait till you come back!!!!  Love to all!!!!

Life is Good

Yeah, life is that good.  Daddy is finally home after 5 months on the road.  Carter, Kenai, and I have enjoyed seeing our Sunshine once again.  Skype was getting a little old...  And, to top it all off, Timmy took me out on a date today while Mom and Dad watched Carter.   Ahhh, good times and Thanks Mom and Dad.
First snowfall of the season.  Fun was had by all.  Good thing we got some pictures of our stellar snowman, because he had toppled over within an hour.  It is nice to finally have an excuse to go outside and act like a kid again in the snow.

Fallin'

The leaves in the yard are totally rocking, just like my sweet kids.
I love fall so much, it is beautiful and amazing to see all the colors.
Can't wait for Timmy to come home and jump in a big pile of leaves with us!

Boo

Carter sure did have a fun time being Elmo and going out trick-or-treating with his cousins!  The two little boys had fevers and stuff noses, so it was a short night for them.  (Note no smiles from them!)

All About Us

I am a stay at home Mom (used to be nurse) to a beautiful baby boy. My husband is in Medical School. This is our story of surviving the challenges life puts before us!
